PAL AMERICAN LEGION BASEBALL

New Britain PAL American Legion Baseball is a program for New Britain residents who are 19 years old and under. Our program consists of STUDENT athletes associated with New Britain High School and E.C. Goodwin Technical School.  The New Britain PAL American Legion baseball program falls under the management of the New Britain Police Athletic League (PAL) and is supervised by a sworn New Britain Police Officer (Officer Barry Hertzler, 2018 season)

Players are selected from various outlets such as public tryouts and coach recommendations from baseball programs throughout the city. All New Britain PAL players must reside in the city of New Britain.  New Britain PAL home games will be played at Beehive Field.

The level of competition for American Legion Baseball is very high with more than 75 teams throughout the state.  The season is approximately 8 weeks long beginning in early June and ending in late July.  Players should expect practices and games to be very competitive and misconduct of any kind will not be tolerated.  Attendance at all practices and games is expected.            Statistics show that over 60% of college baseball players and over 50% of professional baseball players have played American Legion Baseball.              COME OUT AND ENJOY SOME GREAT BASEBALL AT BEEHIVE FIELD THIS SUMMER!
